HYLASTIC EPU R2T

Epoxy – Polyurethane elastic 2 components adhesive, R2T

White, flexible, reactive resin adhesive (2 component). High performance product with nil vertical slip and excellent chemical resistance. It is used for laying any type of tiles on floors and walls in indoor and outdoor areas. It is suitable for superposed installation, underfloor heating, deformable substrates and applications in areas where water is permanently present.

Composition & Features

Component A consists of synthetic resins, fine aggregates, and special organic additives.  Component B consists of an innovative organic catalyst. Once mixed together, the two components form an easy-to-apply, thixotropic and very smooth paste that facilitates tile and natural or artificial stone installation works.

Application

Add the catalyst (component B) to the paste (component A). Mix with an electric mixer at low speed until you obtain a stable mixture without lumps. Apply the mixture onto the substrate using a suitable serrated putty knife and place the tiles by applying strong pressure. Mixing ratio: 9.26 kg of component A + 0.74 kg of component B. Life span of the mixture: approximately 60 minutes. Permissible application temperatures: from +10 °C to +30 °C.  Open application time: 50 minutes. Accessible after 24 hours. Packaging & Storage
  • In 10 kg plastic containers.
  • In a dry place where frost does not form, for 24 months from the date of production, in unopened bags.
Consumption

Consumption: 1.1 – 3.5 kg/m2.
