MARMOCOLOR

Pigments in powder form for cementitious and acrylic mortars

The MARMO COLOR pigments are high quality inorganic pigments in powder form. Each container corresponds to the coloring of 25 kg of white mortar or pasty plaster to achieve the corresponding color from MARMODOM’s color chart. They are suitable for coloring products for interior and exterior applications, such as DECOPLASTER, BIOPLASTER, MARMOFINISH etc. Products such as MARMOFLOOR, MARMOFLEX etc. can be colored at the user’s responsibility beyond the standard color chart.

Composition & Features

Application

Cementitious plasters, decorative cementitious mortar, self-leveling, etc.: • The pigment is gradually added to the specified water under continuous stirring using an electric stirrer at low speed until it is completely dissolved. The white mortar to be colored is then added and thorough mixed until a homogeneous/uniform mixture is obtained. • The mixing can also be done in the wet mortar, with careful addition of the pigment under constant stirring, but it requires more mixing time and more careful work. Pasty plasters:  The minimum possible amount of water is added to the pigment so that it becomes a thin paste on mixing. The paste is added to the white pasty plaster and mixed with an electric mixer at low speed. • Application temperature between +5 oC and +35 oC.

Packaging & Storage

• In a dry place where frost does not form, for 12 months from the date of production, in unopened containers, in an environment protected from frost and prolonged exposure to strong sunlight for 12 months from the date of production.

Consumption

Depending on the desired shade. The pigments are intermixable to achieve a choice of shades.
