BIOPRIMER

Quarz plaster adhesion primer with coloring capacity

BIOPRIMER is used as a primer to improve the adhesion of both smooth low-absorbent surfaces (exposed concrete, metal surfaces, etc.) and absorbent or slightly and superficially only loose surfaces (plasterboard, old plasters, etc.). Suitable for interior and exterior surfaces. It is a component of the external thermal insulation systems BIOPANOPLY (EPS / XPS / WOOL) of MARMODOM, for use as a primer. BIOPRIMER combines deep penetration into the substrate with the creation of a surface “grainy” film. It can be colored in the shade of the overlying decorative plaster and ensures its uniform drying. Homogeneous, ready-to-use, industrial product of consistently high quality. It ensures good workability, increased application speed, it is economical and provides excellent results.

Composition & Features

• Aqueous solution of polymeric dispersion, enriched with quartz sand of selected granulometry and special improving additives. Although the specifications and instructions presented in this bulletin have been prepared to the best of our skills, knowledge and experience, they should be taken as indicative results and require verification after many applications.  Users to whom this product is addressed should verify its suitability for the intended application.  The end user is responsible for any result of the use of the product.

Application

• The substrate must be firm, dry and clean. • Before the application, the contents of the plastic container must be thoroughly stirred. It can be diluted with up to 20% water. In case of dilution, it is recommended that the contents are consumed within 2-3 days. Within these time limits, the separation of the phases, after dilution, does not affect the properties of the product. In this case, good stirring is recommended. • It is applied to the surfaces with a roller, a brush or with the special automatic spraying device. • The coated surface is ready for plastering after drying in 4 to 8 hours depending on the weather conditions and the type of substrate. • The application temperature should be between +5 oC and +35 oC.

Packaging & Storage

• In containers of 17 kg on pallets. • In sealed containers and in a dry environment, protected from frost and prolonged exposure to strong sunlight for 12 months from the date of production.

Consumption

Approximately 250-350 gr/m2, depending on the thickness of the layer, the dilution and the type of substrate.
