REFIXCEM PRO R4
Fiber-reinforced, thixotropic repair mortar class R4
REFIXCEM PRO is used as a repair mortar for works where very high strengths are required, such as repairs to concrete elements or embeddings, where high performance requirements are not specified and are not subject to fire reaction regulations. Suitable for outdoor and indoor use.
- It has high mechanical strength, excellent adhesion to the substrate and resistance to moisture and frost.
- Homogeneous, ready-to-mix, industrial product of consistently high quality.
It ensures good workability, increased application speed, it is economical and provides excellent results
Mixture of high specifications grey cement, crushed marble of strictly selected granulometry and quality, enriched with polymers, polypropylene fibers and special improving additives
- The substrate must be clean and firm, and it is recommended that it is wetted before application. Corroded concrete is removed mechanically (sandblasting, chisel, etc.). Ensure that the structural elements to be repaired are sufficiently rough. The concrete reinforcement must be free of rust and have anti-corrosion protection with Corroprotect.
- The contents of a bag are mixed with clean water (approximately 4.0 l/bag 25 kg) using an electric mixer at low speed until a homogeneous mixture is obtained. The mixture is left to cure for 5 minutes and then stirred again before the application.
- The mixture remains workable for approximately 1 hour (depending on ambient temperature).
- It is applied with a trowel or putty knife like an ordinary plaster, up to 6.0 cm thick in successive layers < 3 cm thick and if the previous layer has been set. It is recommended that the reinforcement of each layer is more than 2 cm.
- Before and during the application of the repair mortar and for at least two days afterwards, the surfaces to be repaired should be protected from exposure to climatic or environmental conditions (wind, rain, high temperatures, etc.).
- During the summer months it is recommended to spray the repaired surface with water and during the winter months to protect it from low temperatures, using plastic sheets during the first 48 hours.
- During the application stage, the temperature should be between +5 °C and +35 °C
- An overdose of water in excess of the recommended amount may contribute to cracking, reduction of adhesion and overall properties of the product.
.
• In bags of 25 kg, on pallets. • In a dry place where frost does not form, for 12 months from the date of production, in unopened bags.
Approximately 17-19 kg/m2, for an application thickness of 1.0 cm, depending on the substrate.
It is classified according to the EN 1504-03 standard as a repair mortar of class R4
